This example is starting a 3 phase 20kW motor direct on line (DOL) with relatively long (250m of 240mm² Al cable) on a 200kVA transfomer.

Results

The voltage drop at the point of common coupling exceeds that recommended (6.59%). Either convince the customer to use a soft starter or get a contribution to install a transformer closer.
